Remember my to-do list and how I still have to decide on my fifth final exam subject? Well…I put that aside and decided to focus on trying to find a uni degree that sounds interesting. My original plan of signing up to for an education major and becoming a teacher just doesn’t feel right at the moment. I’d study for 6-7 years plus up to 2 years of training until I’d finally be a teacher. It has been my dream for 10 years now but somehow the long (and apparently horrible) uni journey seems incredibly discouraging. So, onto finding alternatives.

Many people have encouraged me to become a social worker but given the rather poor payment in relation to the working conditions I have to decline that offer. I’d become a nurse but my emetophobia makes it pretty much impossible. Philosophy interest me a lot but I do not meet the criteria to sign up for it (as far as I know? It’s a bit hard to understand); same goes for both Latin and ancient Greek :/ English would be logical but I don’t know what I’d do afterwards; Politics would require another undergrad course and I have no idea what else to pick. Plus I fear I might not be smart enough for it…

So, what do I do now? Mourn the fact that I’m rather bad in all scientific subjects and that nothing interests me at the moment. Once I’m done with that I’ll look at different universities and other non-uni paths to take.

OK I WENT AND SCANNED THE ZINE I MADE AND... here are most of the pages - so every middle "spread" has one left and right page on the back of it and then a bigger pic once its unfolded, but didnt include every side for every larger spread.

this basically explores a bit of folke and adrian's relationship - adrian, the Creature, ends up finding folke's brother's recently deceased corpse and imitates his appearence, the only real way for a basilisk in their world to learn to shapeshift into something.

So their relationship is a bit complicated. but also, it ends up eventually settling into something that isnt only full of bitterness...

researched some uni courses (found two very interesting English literature classes I’ll look into!!), had a dentist appointment and picked up my book.

trying to fight off first symptoms of depression by going on walks while listening to the Harry Potter soundtracks and drinking (too much?) tea.

Uni AU where Kni and Vash have an argument and Kni is like “so what? Are you just gonna walk away from the issue???” And Vash just goes “YEAH ACTUALLY I AM” and just walks out of the house and leave Kni there sooo bewildered

Vash drives to his house and feels so accomplished and good about standing up to Kni and then cries inconsolably on the living room floor where Wolfwood finds him and lays down in there with him while he scrolls through his phone. He says nothing until Vash has let it all out and they go to buy burgers and eat them on the sidewalk

...Okay yeah at this rate, we can definitely add young people to the list of people the tory's hate, because so far all their promises if they elected, they target young people via wanting to force them to do national service in either the military for a year or give up a weekend every month for a year to unpaid labor, leaked documents confirming jail is a threat if the young people say no and parents will be fined and its confirmed there is no way out even if you are in uni and have a job and have other obligations like being a carer to someone. And if the young people don't have a job yet, Rishi's promised to ensure jobs will focus on people with military experience, aka isolating any young person (or anyone in any age group really) from jobs if they haven't gone and played soldier for Rishi and co. And NOW Rishi is promising to basically fuck up uni courses for young people, aka to get rid of courses he and the tory's deem worthless and such, in favor of apprenticeships that let's be real, won't ever exist, because tory's can never actually commit to doing stuff like that. The only people tory's seem to want to act like they care about in this campaign are older generations, given the promise to get rid of pension tax, while also appealing to their love for acting like they fought in the wars and hate for young people.

Lol but fr hello i finally finished all 4 chibi sprites. Here s more of them

I wanna make intro posts for them soon, but i think i ll do that when i finish their sekai fits fullbody drawings. For now here s some basic info bout em under the cut:

Group of outcasts and troublemakers somehow end up in eachothers lives and start making music together, to convey the feelings they can't vocalise.

Mayumi - He's an aloof boy that doesn't listen to anyone and is difficult to converse with due to his weird, roundabout way of conversing with people, if he replies to you at all. He loves fashion and music, spends a lot of time trying out different instruments but he has an electric guitar at home that he plays often. Oh and he usually wears his hair behind his ears and no band aid, but he has a lot of piercings and doesn't wanna get in trouble at school, because it'd be a nuisance.

Ayase - Ray of sunshine that won't stop can't stop- but despite being so friendly and easy to get along with, he doesn't seem to have many friends. He always gets in trouble for breaking the unform code.

Haru - Transfer student with infinite confidence that doesn't back down from a fight. He's chill for the most part, as he doesn't really speak, ever- but if you try to fuck with him you will regret it. Got expelled from his previous school for various things like skipping class very often, breaking uniform code, fighting students and teachers, and generally being a menace.

Yuuta - World's largest chiuwawa. Is scared of everything and everyone, and has a stutter. He doesn't actually attend school irl, his anxiety turning him into a shut in- but in his free time he loves going around town and doing grafitti. He makes double triple sure nobody will see him though, because if he gets caught he will probably combust and die. Grafitti is the only thing that's worth the anxiety to him though.

Their whole story as a group is finding reasons to keep trying- as all of them have given up, in one way or another.
